    Hi Teri –

I remember you from MSSD — you’re still looking sexy as ever, even if you are a mom of 4 or 5, whichever it was?

I’ve been enjoying your Zen stories. Very interesting how they can be taken to apply to these situations. Are you a practicing Buddhist or just interested in the Zen stories?

  2. Kate Says:

I am so glad your zen stories are back! Yay!

I’m trying to catch up with Deafread ,since we just got back from our vacation. While watching your vlog, I enjoyed this story all the way! Thumbs up, Teri!

Cool story. I like your interpretation. I always enjoy watching you telling Zen stories and the interpretations.

It is also cool to see you making replies on the road.

My interpretion of this Zen story is that a person graciously acknowledges everyone present that he is the one who has prepared the dish into which he has inadvertently put a snake — sans explaining incessantly in circles and circles — completely the opposite as seen in some v/bloggers’ posts
    on DeafRead.

You were under Dr. Denton at MSD, right? I was under Dr. Bjorlee. Instead of fingerpointing at students, he used some Zen and Aesopic stories. :-D

As in your usualness, this is a real good vlog!

    Teri-

Great story but I do not wish to interpret this time because I am not in a good mood today. You should know why. Anyway, it looks like you didn’t use your seatbelt. I do not want you to fly out the window. You are too sweet to fly away too soon. :-) If you did use your seatbelt then I guess the sun was in the way and I was not able to see it. :-)

    Hello Teri!

  8. DT Says:

Jack Barr, would you like to consume this morsel?

Judge, I second your point of view of Teri’s Zen story about accepting the responsible of “Oops” and ate it himself. At the same time it isnt harmful to eat snake’s head anyway.

    Another good story!

But what is the sound of one hand signing?

    Teri-

I saw your message for me through vlog and now most of your vlogs to commenters including me disappeared like a distant wind. I didn’t realize that you were riding in your RV. Yes if you sat in the back then you did not have to use seatbelt. Glad you have RV as it is more comfortable for you and your family. But as for gas!!! Ouch!

My youngest sister has RV…very huge…not sure how long but she can pull three sides…what do you call it to make bigger rooms? Anyway, I learned from her that it is important to research about routes especially when going on backroad because when she and her husband went to one of the mountains they found out that there is only one way road. They were sweating profusely because they never knew when oncoming cars were coming by. Next day she decided to use her jeep and drove in the front and let her husband followed her with their RV. They had to ue walkie talkie to communicate to each other. That must be scary experience for both of them. When I heard about this I try to warn anyone who has RV…to do some research first before they go on a trip. I thought maybe you and your husband would like to know about this. I know it does not happen too often but it is good to check out first.

    Teri Reply:

    Yeah!

Once again, I experimented with the database and video comments. I felt safe to play with the file, because the videos were stored on the Seesmic server.

    So far I learned . . .

It’s best to log in with your Seesmic account. It allows you to retrieve video comments from Seesmic, because videos will be uploaded into one place together (on one page) and each video has its own link.

So I strongly encourage commentators to log in with their Seesmic account rather than signing in as anonymous. That’s why I lost a few video comments by logging in without a Seesmic account.

Thanks for sharing the tip on RVing. It sounds scary going up the mountain via one way route. I would freak out!! :) I even get paranoid going steep uphill with all the kids inside the RV. I often have to close my eyes or move into the back section of RV.

    Hi,

My fiance and I are planning on going full-time in an RV, and she is deaf. I was wondering, while you are traveling in your RV, how do you communicate with each other? She reads lips fairly well, and were thinking of a camera on my face and a monitor in front of her, but I am unsure how well that will work.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

    Take care.

    Regards

    //Karl
