Teri discusses how she copes being a deaf mother of ten children attending her sons' rugby games. The video clip may answer many of your questions left in the commebt box. The video shows a casual day of how her hearing husband and she run the normal weekend day taking the kids to the rugby game and Dodgers'.

Hello Superb mom ~Teri ~
Oh my! I cannot explain the words at how I felt when I watched your home video. Having family is something I value so dear to my heart. Children simply become your life and nothing seems important as much. When I watched yours, it made me almost cry because I feel so much love in there.
You are very fortunate to be able to have that kind of life that many are unable to have. Bless your heart of hearts.
Thank you for showing your home video and remind us that family is more important part in our lives ~

Really enjoyed the “reality show” about you and your family… just loved some scenes like two boys entertaining the baby of the family, a boy holding a huge umbrella, and kids roaming freely… And all ten kids in their blue jerseys rooting for the Dodgers baseball team!! I thought it is a neat way to keep the kids busy and comfortable in a RV while on the road… Interesting to see a bit of California…. Many thanks for sharing your family experiences with us… Look forward to seeing more of your family in the near future… smile

The sign for donuts… some people use “f” and place it on one eye. Weird but simple, eh?

Beautiful familia.
“always for happy occassion”
I have this qoute that I got from my grandmother.
” When you see a bouqet of flowers they’re all beautiful when you see them from a distance. But when you come closer you see that everyone is different. They are all beautiful in their own way. They are special to me.
This represents my wonderful family. G-d bless them all with their wonderful children.”

You and your family have a wonderful life together. You have 10 beautiful children and I watched all videos and pixs I did not see any one of kids got one fight or punches in face HA! You and Bill looked more relaxed while the children played in the park and at ball park. You are good mom. Bill is good dad, too.

Your video proof us that you and husband were busy people with your own children. What a great family all of you got shared together.
April 21st, 2007 at 10:09 am
Cool! Really enjoyed watching all of it. I have two children so I always imagine what it is like to have two more or even three. So I always think of what it must be like to be in mothers like you shoes.
I am just amazed that you have the time and energy to keep going. Work, family, and doing vlogs, and you are in school too, right? I am always tired all the time and I only have two kids and am a part time student. So can’t complain compared to you.
By the way, I am looking to talk with some teachers of the deaf for a paper I am doing for my class. Can I contact you?

Teri,
Thanks so much for making such a wonderful film! I smiled all the way to the end watching it. Now my cheeks hurt!
Ronda,
I am from Oregon too and I sign the same way you do for the word “donut” - one hand, “R” hand shape, fingers pointing to the mouth and make a circle around the mouth… (By the way, my sister’s name is Ronda too - with no h!) OOooohhh hey… Ronda… I think maybe I know you… We met at Chemeketa Community College in Salem….??????????????

I loved it!! That was awesome!
The family vibe in your house - although I haven’t seen “inside” - is similar to ours.
People are amazed at how great our kids are - that we can easily communicate with them and there’s hardly any fights. They actually enjoy visiting us with the kids around. At first they thought how awful it would be with four kids!
One friend who hates kids told all of her friends how she loved our kids.
People would tell me, “That tells me a lot about your kids by her comments - someone who HATES kids!”
That made us feel good!
You have a wonderful and beautiful family! Your husband is awesome, too!
Thanks for sharing a vclip with us!

Lovely family!!!! I remember some of your kids in 2001 and now they are grown up! it is so much fun to go out rather than stay home! all of your kids are so special! and they are very lucky to have wonderful parents!
April 21st, 2007 at 7:17 pm
Teri,
Heartfelt thanks for sharing your family with us! Very endearing. I’m wondering about sign language communication between you and your kids. I could see your husband and daughter sign to you. What about the other boys? They all seem to understand you. How do they communicate with you/ We learn that older siblings tend to pick up ASL and use it more than the younger siblings do. I’m curious about the communication dynamics between you and your kids. Are they all hearing? Any deaf children in your family?

I enjoyed watching your family’s outing, thank you for sharing
I loved the part where your two boys played with your youngest in the RV!

Beautiful family!
Thanks for sharing the video and pixs.. they all are so lovely kids.
Your children are happy because you parents are happy. Thats most imporant in everyone’s life.
You parents did great job!
However, we all know no one is perfect but we all do our best is all we can.
Teri, I got an advice from my Mom that she had kept telling me repeatly . I want to pass this to you. You must spend every mintue not hour or day I mean mintue of each of your child because they really grow up so fast before you know. No kidding! I really miss my children when they were young.. they grew up so fast.
I’m a mother of three children who are now adults and one grandson I adore him so much. It brings alot of joys. Cannot wait for more grandchildren to come.
God Bless you all! And enjoy being with your family!

Wow! Having an RV is a neat idea compared to having a 15 seat van. I enjoyed the video and pictures. Hope you get the video camera fixed soon.
April 22nd, 2007 at 12:18 pm
Great one there, Teri! I remember Skye when she came along on a field trip for our class when you were teaching there. She certainly has grown up into a lovely young lady. The house you were filming is sure different from the one you used to live in before you moved to Riverside - smile.
Sometimes life can be ironic or funny.. we hear many times of being the only deaf child in a hearing family (and the problems that comes with it) as opposed to being the only deaf parent in a hearing family… interesting, eh?
anyway.. keep it up! would love to have more peeks into the daily life in California.

Enjoyed this! Yes, that gave me an idea of how you all function as a family with so many kids! =) You all work together….heartwarming to see the older kids take care of the younger kids. =) Superfamily!
Nice rv and home u got….I am aware of what your job is. Curious what Bill’s job is if you don’t mind sharing. =)

Hi Teri,
Thank you so much for sharing your “reality” video clip of your beautiful family.
Using a RV makes so much sense where everyone can be transported at the same time. It is so neat seeing your family in action especially when they are caring for each other. I can see how much fun you all are having together.
You are indeed blessed! Keep it going with yor reality clips!
April 22nd, 2007 at 9:04 pm
What a BEautiful family you have! I have two grown children and two grandchilddren. They enjoy using our van when we need it for our long trip. But yes, it is a must having a RV for a large family.

I was awe-struck when I first read your blog/vlog via my brother’s blog (fookembug). You are one of my favorite vloggers out there.
I still can’t believe u have 10 children! and the first baby is girl then the rest are boys! You have a really very, very nice big family!
Nice reality show you have and hope you will make some more of it.

Teri,
Your show is toppled the Neilsen ratings of #1. I enjoyed watching the beautiful dozen of your children and truly inspiring moments of your children’s actions. While your older son called everyone to come into RV, I was terrified to see if one of your children may hide home to be alone like the movie, “Home Alone”. Fortunately, your children obey you and Bill’s request to join the RV for the trip.
God bless your family to stay together and endeavor.

Wow enjoyed your day’s story! Your showing brings a great deal of memories for me. I’m the oldest of 10 of us. However we didn’t have a RV (we had that big ole station wagon, loll). Great memories!! You have a beautiful loving family. *excellent Vlogs. Keep them coming!!

Hi Teri,
I must comment this: I truly enjoyed your cheaper by the dozen II.
I am just simply amazed in how wonderful mother you are as well as your husband.
Is your husband CODA?
I gotta know this tho: who is in charge of cookin’, eh? Do you have any saving money ideas for any of us? I am always looking for ways to save $$.
My Dad is the 3rd oldest of 10 children - so, it is really nice to have bunch of cousins to goof around with on my grandparents 350 areas of farmland. Your children will be blessed in having their own children in playing with their cousins, it is the best thing in the world.
Again thanks for taking the time to show us what your daily life is like in your home. Hope you will do more of those in the near future.
Just a thought, it would be nice if you could have pictures of each child with their names, birthdates, their interests, etc. Don’t forget to include your husband!
Bless you!

I hope you will have a great week! Thank you so much for showing the pictures of your Dodgers family! They are so awesome kids! Take care!

What a beautiful family! Have always wondered how you managed with 10 children in the household. Thanks for sharing via video up to this point. In addition to some of the above queries, I would love to see how you manage (weekly? monthly?) grocery shopping and running errands with all 10 in tow. I look forward to seeing more vlogs. Great job, Teri!
