Yeah I did check it out. Although they do not screen out post entries, they already “screened out” many v/bloggers. They chose only 9 bloggers, including yours. I have made a suggestion to them last week that maybe they could consider some way where ew could “build” our own deafpulse by checking which bloggers etc I want on my page. Otherwise, I doubt it would be that successful if people cannot reach their favorite sites that are not on their page.

thanks for letting us know about http://www.deafpulse.com
perhaps DeafRead will have categories in the future where full vlogs can be included, e.g. Zen (smile) category, Education category, Humour category, Health category, etc.

I agree with you. I like Deaf Pulse Web Site very much because it is easier for me to click once at one time what I like to visit - very well organized categories instead of consuming time to look for something.

I honestly don’t crazy over the deafpulse because of the b/vloggers’ new entries. The deafpulse do not have the “screen-up” like the deafread have. There will be more and more new v/bloggers coming up. In my opinion, the deafpulse indeed have a very nice informative of more medias, press and news.

Want to throw my 2 cents.
I loved DeafPulse.com for its user-friendly design and grid layout. Compared to DeafRead, I have to click on the “News” or “Videos” to read the articles or watch the videos whereas on DeafPulse.com, it’s there automatically, saving me time. Videos and posts are already in one page. It functions almost like a web app, not a website. DeafRead is a lot similar to Digg’s website.
I already made a few comments myself suggesting DeafPulse add more bloggers with the “expanding” and “collapsing” option so we can collapse a few sections we don’t want to read.
You can read my comments at:

When you put a mouse over the headlines, the bubble shows up showing the summary the posts. Again, it’s a great implementation of presenting the summary information.
It’s only the beginning for DeafPulse…I can imagine if DeafPulse adds tags to each post, it will be perfect way to categorize each post. Again, there’s always Google to help us search.
Only if DeafPulse adds a photo gallery similar to its YouTube video gallery, it would be a great addition. There are many great Deaf photographers that are left out. I believe they should be included.
