An anniversary post  (Oct. 13th 2006). . .

It shows the gathering of several deaf women playing the Tripoley game on Black Friday (last year) and it was cut short after finding out about the arrests being made at Gallaudet.  It is a priceless document  — showing several deaf women getting together and giving FSSA their support.

Previous Post:

"As the night folded around us, the players, we felt for the protests being arrested, our minds slipping away from the game, toward the horrors of a future at Gallaudet. Even we are far, far away, we, The Trippers of SoCal are with you . . ."

Question: Where were you on that fateful day?

Note: Tripping Over?  Well, it is a word play — we call ourselves as Trippers. Gotcha? :)

As promised, here is a beautiful photo of Fab Eight! Thanks to Chris Hamilton for doing such an excellent job capturing the right moment and the amount of light falling on each individual. Everyone looks so glowing! It is a pleasure getting to know him. He appears to be a new promising deaf photographer! Kudos, Chris.

This video clip shows Teri's reflections of DeafHope Tea Party and the gathering of the well-known female deaf v/bloggers during the weekend in the Bay Area (SF/Fremont). There is also a short clip of several vloggers expressing their feelings about sign language(s) before hot tubbing.
