Teri discusses four issues — killing four birds with one stone!  A follow up of "Don't Cling". A couple of responses; to Iammine and Drolz. A brag on her CSD, Riverside students' vlogs. Enjoy!

Hey readers,

I produced two video clips — the first one on the worst ASL vLog Fest, and the second one on a brand new series, "I Love Teri" discussing several issues of deaf spouses married to hearies.

Like the All American Girl Lucy Ricardo and her Cuban musician husband Ricky Ricardo, Bill and Teri explore the wonderful life of two worlds colliding. Baa-ba-loo Everybody!

Teri discusses the training session, Language Planning given by Steve Nover, Jay Innes, & Ed Laird this afternoon.  She is inspired by the presentation given by Jay about CSDR. There are two previous video clips (May '06) she produced — discussing her and other staff's perspective of CSDR, and this videoclip "wraps" up!

Hey folks, I regret to say that the first Q & A, and last two Qs & As were not recorded. I ran out of blank tapes right after the speech. I did not expect that the event would last more than three hours. I had to ramble about the room looking for a blank tape, and realized Mark B. and I were only ones videotaping the event. He run out of blank tapes a long time before me. I was quick enough to grab some cassettes being already recorded and rewinded them a little bit. They were taped over some previous events! That was the best I could do.

Donalda Ammons delivered a passionate speech on Gallaudet protest before the Riverside deaf community at CSDR on November 3rd, 2006. She divulged a lot of NEW information such as “Plan B”, and two FSSA reps hiding at the Hyatt Hotel where BoT conferenced, and so on. Let’s tune in.

Update: I apologize about the site being down for the first half of day. The server was crashed this early morning. It was finally up and running sometime before noontime. The readers and I could not post any new information or comments until around 5 PM. Thanks, Dustin Williams for all the help having it back to normal.

The 11/3 event at CSDR featuring several interesting speakers who were at Gallaudet Protest, was wonderful charged with exuberance and positive energy. It was a true experience of unity. The opportunity to get together as a community was enhanced by the richness of the culture. That feeling of unity is what added that unique flavor and depth to the experience. It causes a significant behavioral change and a shift in attitude in a unique way. The CSDR community and other deaf communities are now noticeably happier and proactive. There is a definite buzz in the air.

Unity for Gallaudet & Deaf People!

Update: Do not worry, I will post a vlog on Donalda's speech tonight. It was not easy editing — from almost 4 hours to 22 minutes!
